2008 Summer Module: Evangelism & Missions

Hofmaier LecturingOn June 2nd thru 6th, Missionary Steve Hofmaier delivered 16 lectures on the subject of the Great Commission, which will serve as part of our curriculum for PT 801 Evangelism & Missions. Drawing from over 20 years of experience as a missionary/church-planter and pastor in the Philippines, Steve addressed the subject in a way that reflected a thorough grasp of the biblical principles underlying the call and work of a missionary, a broad range of experience in applying these principles in a foreign context, and a passionate burden to see Christ magnified among the nations for the glory of God. In the words of one of our students,

The module on Evangelism & Missions was tremendously helpful in the area of theology and the everyday practical outworking and experiences of the missionary and the mission field itself! Pastor Steve Hofmaier was helped in bringing to the students the core and essence of what missions and evangelism is all about – the glory of God, the commissioning of the missionary and calling us to search within our hearts and ask ourselves this very important question, what must we do!

If you were not able to attend the modules, I’d highly recommend that you obtain the audio (MP3) or video (DVD) recordings of the lectures, which should be edited and mastered within the next few weeks and may be purchased through our online store on the seminary website.
