2008 Fall Theological Module: Hermeneutics
Posted by deangonzales on August 19, 2008
Dear Brothers,
We would like to invite you to attend a theological module October 6th thru 10th on the subject of Hermeneutics, the science of interpretation. Pastor Mark Chanski will deliver 17 seventy-minute lectures. The course will provide a definition of biblical hermeneutics, survey the history of interpretation, examine the foundational presuppositions, as well as the grammatical, historical, and theological elements of sound biblical interpretation. Trinity Bible Church of Powell, Wyoming, will host the module. Powell is approximately one hour from Yellowstone National Park (see photos below). So you could turn the module into a little vacation too! Whether you’re preparing for the ministry, already a pastor, or a layman who desires a better grasp of how to interpret and apply the Scriptures accurately, we believe this course will prove valuable. Please make every effort to avail yourself of this opportunity for edifying instruction and fellowship. You can also download the module flier, registration form, and lecture schedule from our seminary home page.
Your servant,
Bob Gonzales, Dean
